Newly Qualified Architect/Part 2 Architectural Assistant
Organic Architects, located in the beautiful town of Helensburgh, Scotland, is a small practice specialising in distillery buildings. We take pride in crafting timeless, beautiful, and durable spaces for spirit brands young and old. Our team is passionate, talented, and committed to delivering exceptional design solutions.
We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic newly qualified architect or Part 2 architectural assistant to join our team. Whether you're a recently qualified architect or working towards a Part 3 qualification, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to exciting projects that shape the spirits industry.
Requirements:
ARB registered or currently working towards a Part 3 qualification.
Strong design skills showcased through a portfolio of your work.
Proficiency in design software, including Revit, is highly desirable.
Effective communication and presentation skills to convey design ideas to clients and team members.
Collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a small team environment.
Organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate project documentation.
Some site experience would be beneficial.
Previous distillery-specific design experience is not necessary; we welcome candidates with diverse backgrounds and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand their brand vision and translate it into exceptional architectural designs.
Contribute to the development and execution of architectural concepts aligned with our clients' goals.
Assist in creating accurate and detailed architectural models, drawings, and presentations.
Work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
Take ownership of projects from initial concept design through to construction administration, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
Gain some site experience by participating in project visits and on-site coordination.
Stay up to date with industry trends and share your knowledge with the team.
